Use of Information and Confidentiality Policy

We fully understand that companies are providing us with sensitive information. All data and documents submitted to The SAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment are treated as confidential as described in our policy.

Data Security Notice

This document describes a set of effective administrative, technical and physical controls which are in place in order to protect RobecoSAM internal data and non-public customer information, including information and documentation submitted to SAM as part of its annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment. 

Language Policy

The official language for the DJSI and SAM CSA is English. Companies are requested to provide supporting documentation in English whenever possible. The Language Policy describes the process when only non-English documents are available.

DJSI Methodology

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) measure the performance of companies selected with economic, environmental and social criteria using a best-in-class approach. This methodology was created by S&P Dow Jones Indices to achieve the objective of measuring the underlying interest of each index governed by this methodology document.

DJSI Member Logo Guidelines

Companies selected for any Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) will be provided with a download link to the member logos. By downloading the logo companies agree to the DJSI Member Logo Guidelines provided below.

ESG Benchmarking Statement of Independence

The SAM ESG Benchmarking department provides services to companies interested in assessing their sustainability performance upon request. These services are available to listed and unlisted companies of any size, regardless if they have been invited to participate in the SAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment.
