Senior Sales Manager covering the German speaking part of Switzerland

To further strengthen and expand our existing Sales Team, and to enhance existing client relationships RobecoSAM is looking for a Senior Sales Manager covering the German speaking part of Switzerland. The successful candidate will be based in Zürich and report to the Head of Wholesale Switzerland.

Principle responsibilities:

  • Further develop the current Wholesale business by leveraging your existing network in the German speaking region of Switzerland
  • Analyze and address client needs, by servicing existing clients and prospecting new clients which mainly include Private Banks, Asset Managers, Independent Asset Managers and Family Offices
  • Differentiate Robeco & RobecoSAM’s product offering from close competitors and the broad market
  • Have a deep understanding of the financial Institutions and their strategies; and consequently, be able to leverage the key specialists and cooperate with relevant members of the team
  • Assess and develop new opportunities and identify emerging sales trends
  • Be able to demonstrate dedication to the company and colleagues and drive individual and team key performance indicators and contribute to delivering the team’s annual sales targets
  • Cooperate with Product Specialists, Portfolio Management, Marketing, Client Servicing and Global Key Account Team

Your profile:

  • A strong and passionate personality, enjoying working hard within a team, with a high level of energy
  • More than 10 years of asset management experience selling investment solutions and strategies
  • Proven network with key decision makers in the Wholesale in the German speaking part of Switzerland
  • Strong track record in client acquisition and relationship management and developing new and existing relationships with Swiss Fund distributors
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the asset management industry, clients, strategy, sales process and the subjects of investment policy and asset allocation
  • Experience or strong interest & conviction in sustainability considerations and investing
  • High-level of engagement, goal-orientation, organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong negotiation skills and be able to create relevance for the client
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Swiss German speaker, excellent command of English, French is a plus

We are looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial, goal oriented senior individual with a track record of achieving successful results in an investment sales function. A high degree of self-motivation, autonomous working, quality awareness are among your strengths. Furthermore, you should have a strong client and sales orientation, consultative selling and good communication skills.
